RELIGION & VALUES

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

Welcome back to all the students in 2020, another brand new academic year! I hope everyone had a wonderful break and is happy to be back at school with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. This year, I am teaching Religion & Values (R&V) from Foundation to Year 6 and also Year 1 Integrated studies.

In Religion and Values, students will be learning about their creator Allah (S.W.T), our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the books that Allah (S.W.T) had sent to us through His Prophets in different times. Moreover, throughout this year the students will develop their understanding in the essence of faith by reading stories, watching informative videos, doing role-plays, and researching and exploring the information about the religion. In Memorisation classes, students will be practising different Duas and Surahs throughout this year and develop a further understanding behind the meaning of the Surahs they learn.

I am sure that parents will work with me to encourage their children to embrace the challenges of this year with enthusiasm and determination. My aim is to provide students with a positive learning environment, so they become life-long learners.

As students have started the semester, I wish them all the rewards of hard work, intellectual curiosity, and active participation in all of their classes throughout the year.
